About Impiani
Watercolours Impiani Resort is located on the south side of Pulau Perhentian Kecil, the small island (see the diagram at the top of this page). It is a quiet and peaceful resort on a secluded beach. All chalets are suitable for twin/double share and can accommodate up to quadruple share on request. Each is fitted with air-conditioning, veranda and private toilet and shower.
All are situated in a beautiful jungle setting. We have many rooms with great views or even with the beach directly in front! You don’t have to move far to see great wildlife at Impiani – just keep you eyes open!

The Rooms

All rooms are spacious and suitable for twin share (we can arrange triple or quadruple share on request). They are air-conditioned and have private toilet and shower.
All are situated in a beautiful jungle setting. We have some with the beach directly in front! The Beach rooms are the first to be booked so please enquire if we have availability if you want the sand at your doorstep.

Restaurant
Our restaurant is open all day, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We pride ourselves on offering a variety of quality food, including fresh sea food, meat and vegetarian dishes prepared in local and western styles. On alternate nights we serve BBQ on the beach. Our guests love dining with the sea at their feet and the stars overhead. Fresh juices and shakes are also available and great to pass the time on lazy days…
Activities
Diving, snorkelling, canoeing or swimming ?
The beach is yours, and right in front of the resort. There are no crowds at our peaceful resort!
Snorkelling equipment is available to rent and snorkelling is available off the beach. You might wish to book on a snorkelling tour, which we can arrange for you. The snorkelling tour is for approximately 2.5 hours and takes you to 3 different places around the islands.
We have kayaks for rent and you can paddle to different beaches. The seas are normally calm and our reception will give advice on places to visit. You can paddle to a new snorkelling site, a deserted beach, or even across to the big island!
In the evenings our staff and customers often have a beach-volleyball game. It’s a lot of fun and a good way to get to know our guys!
At Watercolours Dive Centre you can learn scuba diving or take guided dives. Snorkelling and diving trips are organised to amazing reefs around the Perhentian and Susu Dara Islands.
Walking today?
There are jungle trails bringing you to the fishing village or to other beaches. On the way spend some time to look around and you will discover Perhentian’s wildlife.
Or just lazing on the beach?
We also have a second hand book shelf or magazines for you to read if you need something to do when you're in the hammock.

About Paradise
Our Paradise Resort is on Perhentian Besar (big island). This budget resort has been a favourite for years now. All chalets are suitable for twin/double share and can accommodate triple-share on request.
All rooms are fan-cooled and we now have air-conditioning in some Sea View rooms. All have private toilet and shower. Paradise is situated with our Dive Centre next door and has a popular restaurant. Although we have only 25 rooms, many people from neighbouring resorts choose to dine with us. Try our delicious BBQ meals or even our home-made pizza! Keep your eye out for wildlife!

The Rooms
Paradise Seaview Rooms |
All rooms are suitable for twin share (triple share on request). All have mosquito nettings at the windows and private toilet and shower. Most of our rooms are fan-cooled, but we have a limited number of Seaview rooms now with air-conditioning.
Our Seaview rooms are particularly popular. Please enquire to see if they are available to avoid disappointment. Advance bookings for all rooms are highly recommended in July and August.

Restaurant
Those of you who have stayed with us before will know our restaurant can get very busy in the busy months. We open all day, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We pride ourselves on offering a variety of quality food, including fresh sea food, meat and vegetarian dishes prepared in local and western styles. We also serve fresh home made pizza and red hot charcoal BBQs every night. We also serve a range of drinks including fresh juices and shakes.
Activities
Diving, snorkelling, canoeing or swimming?
You have the beach right at your doorstep and some of Perhentian’s best snorkelling sites within a few minutes walk. Snorkelling equipment is available to rent. You might wish to book on a snorkelling tour, which we can arrange for you. The snorkelling tour is for approximately 2.5 hours and takes you to 3 different places around the islands.
At Watercolours Dive Centre you can learn scuba diving or take guided dives. Snorkelling and diving trips are organised to amazing reefs around the Perhentian and Susu Dara Islands.

Quite often there will be volley-ball in the late afternoon and you can join our staff in a game.

For more relaxing times we have a buy-sell-exchange book shelf with books in many languages. You might find yourself finding one of our hammocks to laze around in, although you have to be lucky to find one without a local already snoozing in it!
