Diving Courses > Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water

PADI Adventure Diver (1-1.5 days) and Advanced Open Water Diver (2-2.5 days)

Barracuda The PADI Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water courses are very similar. The difference is that the Advanced course contains two additional dives.

What will I do?
Adventure Diver: Complete 3 Adventure Dives of your choice and you will receive the PADI Adventure Diver certification.

PADI Advanced Open Water: Complete 3 Adventure Dives of your choice plus the Deep and Underwater Navigation dives and you will earn the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

What dives can I choose from at Watercolours?

We have plenty to choose from. Pick from the following:

Adventure Dives available to divers 10 years old and older:
- AWARE-Fish Identification;
- Underwater Naturalist;
- Boat Diver;
- Underwater Navigator (mandatory in PADI Advanced Open Water);
- Peak Performance Buoyancy; and
- Underwater Photography (camera rental available *).
Adventure Dives available to divers 12 years old and older:
- Multilevel Diver;
- Deep Diver (mandatory in PADI Advanced Open Water);
- Night Diver **;
- Search and Recovery Diver; and
- Wreck Diver.

What do I need to start?
You must already be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or have an equivalent certification from another organisation).
You must be a minimum age of 15 years, or:
10 years old for PADI Junior Adventure Diver.
12 years old for the for PADI Junior Adventure Diver and PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver.

You can join in on Specialty Diving Courses (please ask for more details) or enroll in one of PADI's most rewarding courses: the Rescue Diver Course.

What does it cost?
The Adventure Diver course costs RM 700 and The Advanced Open Water Diver RM 950
The price includes boat dives, equipment rental and certification.

* Digital camera rental RM 45 per dive.
** Night dive surcharge RM 30, torch light rental RM 15 per dive.
