i stayed in Paradise for 2 nights and i felt i was in Paradise indeedly!!!!!!!so friendly staff, so hight value for money and comfortable room (nice bed, powerful shower water, nice view to the bleach), delicious food, the cozy time made you in island, customer-oriented service, snorkelling is wonderful and nice place where i have been taken!! Really unforgettable experience as in Malaysia!! it plus value in my trip!!!

Hallo Watercolours-Team,

wollte euch noch ein kleines Dankeschön in euerem Gästebuch hinterlassen.

Mir ist bisher noch keine Tauchschule mit solch guten Briefings inkl.Artenbestimmungen nach den einzelnen Tauchgängen untergekommen. Von den leckeren Pfannkuchen danach mal ganz abgesehen...

Ihr habt nach wie vor ein sehr gutes Gespühr bei der Einstellung euerer Divemaster und Instructors. Alle mit denen ich dieses Jahr Tauchen war, waren wieder einmal Top.

Besonderer Dank nochmal an meine diesjährigen Guides Viv, Filip, Kris und natürlich Nadine.

Denke, dass wir uns auch noch ein viertes mal auf die Perhentians zu Watercolors "verirren" werden...

In diesem Sinne...viele Grüße von uns aus dem leider momentan regnerischen Deutschland...

Unfortunatly I am back home at Switzerland. But it was just great at the watercolors. And I am proud to have my Open Water now. Felt really safe and home at the Watercolors dive center. Thank you to the whole crew!

Hi Anke and Team,

I am writing to thank you and the team at Watercolours for the wonderful experience I had last week while completing my open water course.

A massive thank you to Troy who was amazing, so professional and passionate regarding all aspects of my training over the three days. I do not know where he gets his patience from and I certainly owed him more than five beers! Troy is such a fantastic instructor and completely gave me the reassurance that I would be able to pass the course. He really gave me the confidence I needed to get into diving after not such a pleasant first attempt to complete my course in Sydney. I also have to admit that I did suffer from separation anxiety on my first fun dive when Troy was not around.

I found all instructors so professional and a pleasure to be around, what a fantastic operation you and the team are running.

Also a big thank you to Peter for his patience when I was out of air after 30 minutes on my first dive, Ben for not treating me like a beginner, Rachael and Kate for being so encouraging and the lovely Louise for always being there for any questions and to have a laugh with.

Finally to Richard who kept on reminding me to sing and to remember a different song each day to be able to last a bit longer down there. (which worked a treat) I do hope Richard has recovered for his falls, what bad luck when on holiday.

Once again thank you for an amazing time last week. My goal is to now wait until the water heats up a bit and continue to dive and hopefully one day when Troy reaches Australia he can take me for my advanced course?

Please send my regards to Troy and Peter and I would love to take the boys for some beers when they get to Australia.

Hi Peter and Anke,

I enjoyed very much the dives with you, the debriefing after the dives were very informative and its very satisfying to put a name to the underwater creatures that we encountered. Thanks to the DMs (Pete, Ben and Mattieu) for the 11 dives! It was exhausting but FUN!

Hope to be back for more dives! Especially to SSW and perhaps the Secret Wreck!

wir möchten uns ganz herzlich für den tollen Aufenthalt bei Euch bedanken.
Wir haben wirklich jede Minute genossen. Besonders Angelo war begeistert von Eurer Tauchschule. Die Kurse und insbesondere die Instructors waren super.Jederzeit hatte man das Gefühl gut aufgehoben zu sein.

Hi to Peter and Anke and the rest of the dive team. Thanks for all the wonderful diving last week. This was my second visit to Paradise/Watercolours and I'm sure it won't be the last. Your operation is incredibly professional and friendly and is a credit to you both. It was a great pleasure to help out with the net recovery at Tokong Laut and also to spot the stone fish on the final dive. We had a great time diving with you guys . Special thanks to Pedro and Sandy for always finding the way back to the boat and the excellent debriefing after each dive. Also many thanks to the staff in the kitchen for all this nice goodies (pancakes, fried banana, etc.) after diving.

Dear Anke, Peter and all the staff at Watercolours Dive Centre,

Wow- it was so great diving with you! We were so impressed at how professionally run the diving operation was. Having done our previous dives with some real "cowboys" ,we were feeling particularly nervous- but we had nothing to fear.All the dives were so safe and the instructor/diver ratio was brilliant! All the equipment worked well and was well maintained. The briefs and debrief were very thorough and everyone knew exactly what they were doing for every dive and in case of an emergency.

We also just wanted to thank you as well for all the environmental awareness/education/reef clean ups that you are doing. It is people like you who give us hope about the future of our world!

Thank you so much again and hello to Pedru, Sandy, Matteo, Troy , Sylvia and the friendly boatmen.Also hello to Din and the Impiani staff who did their best as well.

Apologies for my testimonial is being so late, I have completed my OW on May, 2008.
Thank to Mark who provide the details information for the diving and transportation, this is pretty important as I came alone.
Thank to Anke who provide an excellent dive site and equipments.
Thank to the resort for affordable accommodation and very nice foods.
Thank to all watercolors staffs who being so friendly and nice.
Thank to my short term instructor, Norbert, which are really short, regret have no chance to learn Deutsch from you :)

A special thank to my lovely instructor, Simone. The time is being unforgettable. I think I'm doing well and claim, hehe... even some mistake I was made when I acquire skills underwater, but still try to redo and remain claim, because I know, you are just behind me. Actually sometime I may feel little nervous when I was on the surface without BCD compare to underwater, being funny huh, because I worry my legs will cramp :( And last, thank to your guidance, I'll remember and apply whenever I going to dive. Hopefully I have a chance to being your student again. Take a good care.

Hello Paradise(Resort)!
First of all we would like to thank Peter,Anke and a big thank to Audray* for being our dive guide for the 5 wonderful dive we had in the beautiful (Stopage-Island) . We had quite a big group which compromise our Sifu-Master Mr.Lawrence and his protege Ryan,Dexter,KK,Jordan,James and Willie,we really love the resort and staffs,service was great and ppl there are friendly (was hoping to knw more peeps around there). But anywhow, will drop by Paradise real soon to check Terumba Tiga and the Vietnamese Wreck which we heard is a nice dive site.

Hi Watercolours,

Just wanted to sign the guest book to thank you for the wonderful time we had in the Perhentian Islands. The diving, snorkelling and restaurant were all fabulous.

The dive school is excellent, the briefings are really enjoyable and the staff are all very friendly.

Thanks especially to Peter for letting me borrow his L Lens and all the camera chat.

For anyone who goes diving I recommend hiring the underwater camera, my only regret is not taking it to Terumba Tiga.

Sorry this is so belated. Life's been a bit hectic since we returned to rainy, cold, England.

We had the most amazing time in paradise, largely thanks to some seriously awesome diving with you guys....still can't believe we saw a whaleshark!!!

We're seriously missing diving, the sun and you guys (Wid is especially missing Maarten, ah bless).

Huge thanks to you all though. We're looking forward to coming back next year and maybe joining the Divemaster Academy??!

On behalf of my friends and I, we’d just like to thank you guys for a fantastic diving experience at Perhentian (13th – 17th of August ‘08)! Everyone was so friendly and the briefings/debriefing sessions were always something to look forward to! I’d like to extend a special thanks to Robert who really made my open water course much easier and more enjoyable with his patience and guidance (Thanks also for teaching me the sign language underwater for 'bulls**t' hahaha, will come in handy *grins*) You can bet that I’ll be making my yearly pilgrimage back to Watercolours where I was ‘born’ to dive again! :)

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the following staff at Watercolours for the wonderful experience we had during our stay there from 19-21 July

Special thanks to the following

Sam and Mark were extremely patient in answering my never ending questions about our trip logistics and the land transfers.

Peter and Anke for constantly checking to make sure we were happy divers, setting the safety rules and shared a lot about marine conservation.

Maarten and Robert, who provided excellent dive guide services. Our group consisted of mostly beginner divers both of them always accompanied my friends up to surface due to headaches or because of low on air situation. Unlike other dive instructors who would either ask the divers to go up themselves and/or watch the divers surface while they watched from below. It was certainly very reassuring for my friends to be accompanied by the instructors up to surface.

They provided very detailed pre and post dive briefing in my 11 years of diving, this is the only centre I came across which actually does a proper and detailed post dive after every dive where we discussed about what was seen underwater, their behaviour, interaction with the other marine life and even poured through picture books. The group ratio to instructors was kept at 1 instructor to 4 divers.

Rest of dive crew were always attentive and helpful when we were struggling with equipment, hunting for food or requiring further assistance.

We will certainly be back again.

Dear, dear staf,

we'd like to thank you for the great time we had in your divecenter en resort. What a time we had, making 13 dives each, enjoying every part of it. The Impiani was a peacefull and quiet place to stay where you forget easily your 'other stressfull life'.
We thank Eva for the pictures, they are great.
Thanks to everyone (no names, ohterwise we forget one) for the extra knowledge of the natural life under water and that makes diving more fun than it already is.
Your divecenter is very good organized (with comliments) and the equipment is in good condition, we felt save
This morning we came back and now we have to ga back to normal life . That will be hard. We hope to come back sometime and we'll tell others about you.

Dear Team and staff of Watercolours,

We just got back to the concrete city of Singapore and already missing all of you in Perhentian Island!

From the day we arrived to Watercolours Impiani, we were taken cared by the excellent service provided by Din and his staff. It's the laid-back but attentive attitude that is so refreshing especially coming from a city life like, Singapore.

Our diving experience with the team at Watecolours Dive Centre were unforgettable. Your team of Instructors are very professional and friendly and your equipments are in excellent condition (unlike other dive centres). We did our 6 dives and all of them left lasting impression on us, especially on our Temple of the Sea 1st underwater photo taking experience. Here we would like to thank Guy, RJ and PC and the rest of the team for making us felt welcome and confident.

We will surely make another trip down to stay and dive with you as you have treated us like friends and make us felt like home....... so till we meet again, thank you to all the Watercolours team and staff of Impiani. Sampai kita jumpa lagi

Your team of young, nice and professionnal diving instructors, as well as the weekly REEFTALK taught me a lot on local marine life, and I am now of fan of nudibranchs, thanks again to Robert.

Hallo Anke, Pete und die ganze Staff von Watercolours
Aus den geplanten 4 Tagen wurden 10 Tage, uns gefiel es so gut bei eurer professionell geführten Tauchbasis, dass wir von Malaysia gar keine anderen Tauchplätze mehr sehen wollten
Loved the pancakes, the Pizzas and the Debriefings.
Conny fühlte sich unter Wasser so wohl, dass sie kaum Luft brauchte, und schlussendlich mit der 8 Liter Flasche mehr Luft hatte als Pete!
Was great diving with all of you guys.
