Instant Boat Tickets

Please let us know if you would like us to email ferry tickets to you. The tickets are the same price as if you bought them yourself at Kuala Besut, but with the advantage that we inform the ferry operator of your arrival time. You also avoid being overcharged for your ticket by unscrupulous touts. Please note that ferry price have risen this year! They are now RM 70 return (fast boat).

Look after the Perhentian Islands !

We are monitoring the health of our coral reefs to try to preserve these fragile ecosystems by highlighting change. We need your help! Please contact us about becoming a certified Eco-Diver by learning the Reef Check survey methodolgy. We will teach you all you need to know, before going out to conduct a reef survey. We and the Reef Check Foundation will use the data collected to highlight further potential decline to our coral reefs. It is only with careful monitoring that pressure can be placed on the appropriate authorities to introduce new management practices aimed towards coral reef conservation.

Reef Check is an established not-for-profit organisation with a proven track record for coral reef conservation.  By using a monitoring system designed by Reef Check, we and the Reef Check Foundation will be able to document potential further decline in reef health.  Reef Check has received international environmental awards for its work, and is the United Nations' official community-based reef monitoring programme. 

Terms and conditions

We ask a deposit of 50% of total price to secure a booking. Please note that all credit card payments, including those made on the islands, carry a 3% charge.

Should a cancellation request be received 14 days or more before commencement of services then 100% of the deposit will be refunded less bank charges incurred.

Should a cancellation request be received 7 to 13 days before commencement of services then 50% of the deposit will be refunded less bank charges incurred.

Should a cancellation request be received 6 days or less before commencement of services then no refunds will be made.

In the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances the company reserves the right to substitute arrangements for those of a similar standard or to postpone travel arrangements, diving, snorkelling or other activities.

The company reserves the right to chage pricing at any time.

The company will not be held responsible for loss, injury, damage to property, or delays and irregularities beyond our control.

While all efforts are made to check pricing and other errors, inadvertent errors do occur from time to time and Watercolours reserves the right to decline bookings arising from such errors.
